“No matter where a child is born, he/she must born SAFE.” NNA UK.
With this motto Nepalese Nursing Association UK (Registered charity:1164886) has set a goal to built Birthing Centre in Jumla, Nepal.
Jumla is remote district situated in Karnali Zone ,Mid-Western region of Nepal. It is beautiful District hidden away in the Himalayan foothills of Sisne. It has most captivating natural aura to attract travelers yet least develop region of Nepal and most inaccessible of so many facilities including health. Women and children die due to complications during child birth or least suffer from maternal and neonatal complication s like prolong labour, retained placenta and infections.
NNA UK:Intro.
Nepalese Nursing Association U.K. was established in 2008 with the aim to support and network with all the Nepalese nursing professionals in UK. We have been actively participating in the community activities providing valuable services in U.K as well in Nepal. Our activities and projects that we have done in the past are the fine examples that we are charity organisation of professionals who has a vision and we prove it by our actions. All our past works wouldn’t have been possible without your generous help and support.
Now again , NNAUK request you hearty,your help and support for our next project to built “Birthing Centre in Jumla.”This project was on hold due to catastrophic earthquake that took place in 2015. Our focus had to be shifted towards reconstruction and rehabilitation. Now we feel we are ready to make a fresh start for this project.
We understand that this is a big project and it is going to cost a lot. However, we also know, this is possible with all your support. And it’s for the betterment of the people living in Jumla.
